Japan – Hiroshima – A-Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

The A-Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum both showed how powerful an atomic bomb can be and why they should never be used again.

The A-Bomb dome is the remains of one of the few buildings that didn’t disintegrate.

Japan – Hiroshima – Miyajima Island and Itsukushima Shrine

I hadn’t heard of this island until I got to my Hostel but everyone suggested I visit it, so I did and I was not disappointed.

Was a nice scenic island with lots of dears and I even managed to try the local dish of Hiroshima, Okonomiyaki which was delicious.

Japan – Tokyo – Maid Cafe, Arcade, Kobe Beef Restaurant and Whisky

What a day. Went to the Maid Cafe which is an interesting place where a Japanese lady dressed as a maid serves you food with smiley faces on it and cuts your food for you.

The arcade in Japan seems like you get a bit more for your money only 100 yen and on most games, I managed to last at least 15 minutes.

Kobe Beef is the best Beef I have had. It was so tasty I had mine at Han No Daidokoro.

Then I headed back to my hostel and accidentally found a whisky bar where I made some Japanese friends.

Japan – Tokyo – The Robot Restaurant and 200 Tiny Bars.

The most amusing thing I have seen in a while its everything I was hoping from Tokyo and more would recommend going if you like neon robots and lasers. Met a group at the robots and we decided to visit the 200 tiny bars which only fitted about 10 people in each.

South Korea – Nami Island

Took a day trip to Nami Island today which was a lovely island in Chuncheon.

Everything is fairly peaceful here although I have heard it can sometimes be packed full of people which would take away whats nice about the island.

North Korea and South Korea – DMZ and JSA

The DMZ and JSA was a really interesting experience, there was a lot to do.

They had the tour of the North Korean tunnels as well as the observatory looking over North Korea and the abandoned train station that used to connect the North and South.

Then in the JSA we got to stand just inside North Korea we also got to see the North Korean soldiers marching back and forward.
