Japan – Osaka – Last Day Meeting Up With My Friend From Seoul

Last day in Osaka. Meeting up with my friend from South Korean for lots of food and beers.

Japan – Osaka – Ramen, Kushikatsu, Osaka Castle, Abeno Harukas 300 and G3 Club

Had a really nice ramen for lunch before the castle and then see the night view of the city from the Abeno Harukas 300 tower.Then some Kushikatsu deep fried food of any kind cheese, pork, mushroom, beef, chicken and a whole load more finishing the night off at the G3 club which seems to be where a lot of Koreans party so I made sure to drink soju all night.

Japan – Arashiyama – Temple, Japanese Garden and Bamboo Forest

Tried again for the monkeys and the site was still closed because of the previous weather. Managed to see a temple, some Japanese gardens, then the Bamboo forest before heading on to Kobe to try Kobe beef in Kobe which was not quite as good as the Kobe beef I had in Tokyo but it was still amazing and better than any beef I’ve had in the UK.

Japan – Nara – Deers

Went to see the deer at Nara. Bought some deer biscuits to feed them. You are supposed to bow to them and they bow back for the biscuits. After that went out for lots of beers too much beer.

Japan – Kyoto – Typhoon

I was heading to see the monkeys in Arashiyama. But the weather was so bad it was closed. So I decided to just get some pictures instead.

Japan – Kyoto – Streets at Night

Was trying to check out some local temples but they ended up being closed. So went for a walk around Kyoto.

Japan – Kyoto – Gesha Area Gion and Temple and Yasaka Shrine

Having a walk down the Gesha Area and visiting the Yasaka Shrine this street was really nice at night as well as the Shrine.

Japan – Hiroshima – Hiroshima Castle

Just before I headed to Kyoto I decided to have a look at the Hiroshima Castle, as the weather was lovely out.

I’m glad I did as the Castle looked amazing in the sun as I’m sure it would have in any weather.

Japan – Hiroshima – A-Bomb Dome and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum

The A-Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum both showed how powerful an atomic bomb can be and why they should never be used again.

The A-Bomb dome is the remains of one of the few buildings that didn’t disintegrate.
