One of my favorite things so far in Phuket was the elephants they where great fun, especially Peter who was a crazy baby elephant, he kept charging at people and running around. We chose the Elephant Retirement Park as this seem to be ethical. We had read some reviews of other places where the animals didn’t seem happy. As far as I could see the Elephants seem to be having fun and no one was riding them which can be bad for there necks.

Thailand – Phuket – James Bond Island and Canoeing
A Day at sea checking out James Bond islands and then canoeing through caves went into a very secluded canyon where we managed to see a few monkeys. Had lots of lovely food on the boat as well and the tour guide even got some people dancing.
Thailand – Phuket – Loy Krathong
Our hotel was celebrating the Thai festival called Loy Krathong where you light a candle on a mini boat with a flower on it which is supposed to send your bad luck away.
Thailand – Phuket – JetSki and Massage
Having fun on the JetSkis and then going for a Thai massage, we weren’t too sure what one was until the lady started walking on us. Click Read more for the videos.
Thailand – Phuket – Island tour, Karon Viewpoint, Phuket Town, Cashew Nut Factory and Wat Chalong
We had a free Phuket island tour today, which we got because we booked the James Bond Island.
We got to see the views from Karon Viewpoint, a drive-by of Phuket town, a trip to the cashew nut factory which was more interesting than I expected. We then went and see the Wat Chalong temple.
